Info for In-House Artists

Thank you for your interest in showing your work in our gallery! The gallery is a space for local artists to show off and sell their work. The nature of the gallery is more casual, which offers both the artists and the gallery more flexibility.

    • You are welcome to submit any work to hang or sell in the gallery, but not all pieces may be chosen by the gallery to sell and display.

    • We will host both original and prints of your artwork. Works should be either framed and “ready to hang” or in sleeves (matted preferred, but unmatted is ok).

    • Framed pieces will be hung or displayed on shelves and pieces in sleeves will be placed in print bins.

    • Everything is sold on consignment. No artwork or prints will be outright purchased for re-selling.

    • You may “swap out” or rotate pieces as you see fit.

    • If either party wishes to terminate the Gallery/artist relationship, a two-week notice is required before all art is completely removed from the space.

      • If the occasional piece needs to be removed for overlapping shows or events etc, that is fine.

    • Each piece should have a temporary label with Your name, the title of the piece, and price (even a sticky note is fine, we will create a permanent label for each piece)

    • Whenever new works are brought into the gallery, a list of all the pieces should be emailed and printed/written out to accompany the drop-off

    • I will share a non-editable Google doc of the pieces for tracking. This is so you can check to see which pieces are sold and when.  If the customer wishes to provide their email, I will include this in the doc as well.

  • Pricing

    • You have full discretion to price your artwork as you see fit. I would like to keep the price range $50-125 for prints and $200-850 for original works.

    • Sometimes customers ask if an artist is willing to come down on the price, in this case, I will reach out to you to inquire about pricing.

    Commission

    • There will be a 25/75 commission split for works sold in person or online. 25% goes to the gallery and 75% goes to the artist.

    • There will be a 75/25commission split for works rented out (if you agree to rentals). 75% goes to the gallery and 25% goes to the artist.

    • Any sales made through the website or social will fall under the 25/75 commission rate.

    Payments

    • For artworks sold, payments to artists will be made monthly.

    • Payments will be made by Venmo, Cashapp or PayPal.

  • More to Come...

The "Featured Gallery Wall" is full for the 2025 year. If you are interested in showing in 2026, please let us know!

    • Please provide a bio and social media/website info via email.

    • Bios and online media info will be displayed alongside the art in the gallery.

    Gallery Social Media and Website

    • The gallery will post and promote your work on the website and social media platforms.

    • You will be tagged in any posts and we will link to your social media and website.

    • Any sales made through the website or social will fall under the 25/75 commission rate.

  • Item description
    • All work sold through the gallery should be free of any copyright restrictions or intellectual property disputes. You warrant the work is yours to sell.

    • The copyright in the Artwork will remain with you even after ownership of the artwork is transferred to the customer.

    • For pieces you wish to display on the wall, they need to be framed. They do not have to be framed here, but the frames should be tasteful and “clean” nothing too ornate or busy.

    • If you wish to have a piece framed by the gallery for display in the gallery, you will receive a 25% discount on framing.

  • Occasionally, production and staging companies will rent out works of art.

    • You do not have to participate in rentals, but it is good exposure!

    • Artists are required to sign a release form by the production company.

    • In the event of a rental, pieces are rented out for a week

    • Rental cost is $150/week for originals and $75 per week for prints. (Commission for rentals is listed above under “Commission”)
